I Need With Some Emo Make-up!?
I want to know how Emo get so white & there faces have like no freckles of natural marks & stuff. And I think I know that they use fake eyelashes to get them to look really long or am I wrong?
Umm & I have the eyeshadow. And about the eyeliner, I have some but I want to know the good kind that Emo people use because it looks like it goes on really smooth. Thanx & please help! Websites or your own advice. Peace!

ok even though we all know how cliche your being
liquid eyeliner, jety black or navy
powder your face with a really light colour make up
try a costume store
and yes its a genre of music

Okay. Go out to a costume store or halloween store (even party city or something) & get a little tub of halloween white make up. Not clown white though, just like a vampire white if you see anything like that. And don’t put a whole ton on, or you’ll look like a clown. Usually, we just use black mascara, or at least I do. I use liquid eyeliner. If you’ve ever heard of the band Evanescence, you can go onto Images search & type in “Amy Lee.” (the lead singer) She has really awesome eyeliner. Hope this helps you on your emo quest.

their light complection is natural. they don’t do anything to make them look white. it just so happens that they are.
good eyeliner is from MAC cosmetics. they have smooth eyeliner than goes on nice & goes on really black. just apply tons of mascara or you can wear falsies.

well, get some pale foundation.
they dont use fake eyelashes unless your talking about scene people.
and they just use normal crap eyeliner cause it looks cool messy, you dont want it perfect.

umm.. emo is a genre of music..but if you are trying to go for “scene” then this is what you should do…. okay usually “emo’s” dont go outside much.. unless they are with their frinens that is…but that is why they dont have freckles(freckles are from the sun) & of course no sun = no tan. & get light ivory foundation & powder.. but you dont want it to be a huge dffrence between the rest of your skin….and instead of wearing just eyeshadow..wear eyliner..it works i promise..and then wear a coat of gray/silver eyshadow…and if you dye your hair black with some weird color(red,pink,blue) & cut choppy layers & hardcore bangs than it is more convining.. ya well i hope your scene look goes well..! remember (emo is love) =)

thick, thick eyliner (black as always)
no liptick or lip gloss (unless u wanna be goth, then go with black lipstick)
lots black mascara
lots of foundation to cover freckles

A lot of emo kids are naturally pale. But I’d assume using
a powder foundation one or two shades lighter then your own skin tone could work. And concealer will take care of any blemishes. NYC eye liner works really well. Just don’t get the waxy kind, get the twist up kind. The waxy kind is hard to apply to the bottom lid. And darker clothes help. Also, with the NYC liner, it doesn’t matter if it’s twisty or not, we’re just talking about cover girl & rimmel, their products.

Ok, emo, gothic, or what ever, it all adds up to the same on make up basics. White powder. Black eyeliner. If youre trying to do emo, go with neon colors or black for eye shadow. On your eyeliner, do wing tips on inner eyes and egyptian/cat wings on the outsides. If you’re really wanting to get into it, make your eye liner on quarter to half an inch thick all the way around, thinning along the inside corners of your eyes, but make sure its water proof or it will run during the day and ruin your look.
