Serious Beauty Question? Having To Do With Makeup?
HI there. My mom says That when I turn 14 I can wear as much makeup as I want, because she knows I’ll put it on sensibly. So, I’ll be turning 14 in half a year. This is what I plan to buy:
MAKEUP:
matte blush
matte bronzer
powder
MAYBE tinted moisturizer
MAYBE brown mascara
clear mascara
MAYBE some brown and/or gray eyeliner, I hate black
light purple and/or blue and/or green liner
Eyeshadow in:
a 4 kit of browns & golds
purple
vanilla
TOOLS:
MAYBE an eyelash curler
q-tips
cotton pads and/or cotton balls
MAYBE makeup sponges, but most likely not
a set of makeup brushes
an eyebrow brush?
Should I
A) save up for a long while & buy it all at once
B) buy everything when I see it, & save it, the more broke version, & also I’ll probably end up using it.
Anything else I should get? I already have concealer. And lotion, zit cream etc. My eyes are dark blue (like denim) with blond hair & fair skin? HELP!!!

I would say save your money & buy it all at once because if you buy it & save it then it could go bad. Ask for a gift certificate to Sephora for x-mas too, that will definetly come in handy! ;-D

Dang that’s a lot you for sure don’t need that much. I would say just pick one color of eyeliner that you want & some mascara & maybe some bronzer.

if you’re just gonna turn 14, you don’t really need that much makeup & thank god that you hate black eyeliner xD

im really fair too, & black, as much as you say you hate it, brings out eyes on fair skin the best– truly. & that is a ton! go with the basics! half the time, in the morning, you wont feel like going through the whole process, you’ll be too tired. so just go with basic stuff: mascara, eyeliner, concealer, & maybe a light bronzer. but really, bronze skin is going out. so dont over think it or over do it! good luck!

white eyeliner
black eyeliner
blush/bronzer powder
blush brush
tweezers
chapstick
moisturizer with SPF!!!
Don’t worry about foundation since you are young. Foundation should be for people who are a lot older & need to cover up aging skin/wrinkles. I don’t use any & I’m 18. Caked on makeup looks bad, trust me.
Tips:
to make eyes appear bigger…I always get compliments on this…
put black eyeliner along top lash line & only on bottom half of lower lash line…white on inner part…not a lot though…just enough to make you look a little bit more awake
if you have blue eyes do the copper eyeshadow & blend with browns…theres a kit of 4 colors…called sand something or another by maybelline…love it..makes blue eyes stand out
curl lashes & apply thickening/lengthening mascara!!!
