Unhappy In Life…any Advice?

Hey Guys, here’s my latest dilemma.
Its school holidays right about now & ive been unhappy with how i look & my personality.
I’ve chosen to get my hair done, get my eyebrows waxed, get a facial, eyelash extensions, a pedicure & acrylic nails done to make me feel better.
Second thing is my friends
I try calling or texting them to catch up but they are always busy.
just recently i organised to go out with one of my besties
but she cancelled on me & i found out she went to the beach with some other friend
i really hate my group of friends, they aren’t true friends at all
im one of those people who used to have best friends & used to do stuff
with them everyday & night but this group doesnt.
its bothers me all the time.
theres also anther so called ‘popular’ group at school that i wish i was with
they are not stuck up, they’re really nice
but like thats ever gonna happen
gods never on my side

I don’t see anything wrong with changing your hairstyle & getting your nails done to add a little pizazz to your life! Everyone needs a change once in a while, but remember that everyone has something about them that shines. It’s more difficult for the individual to see that spark in themselves, but that’s a learning process that everyone sees more clearly as time passes.
Regarding your personality, as long as you’re a kind & considerate person, I don’t see how anything could be wrong with you. You sound like a very likable person, trying to stay in contact with your friends. About the untrue friends you have now…maybe you could start a clean slate for next semester & find one special friend. One best friend is just as good (or even better) than a group of friends.
People are people. No one is better than the other. Try smiling at the “popular” group of girls & being pleasant & friendly around them. Just be independent, friendly, & concentrate on your own happiness & interests, & people will be attracted to that. Make sure you are becoming friends with the popular girls because they are nice people…not in order to be popular.
Also, maybe changing up your routine (such as exercising & eating a nice breakfast in the morning) will start off your day well. Then, you’ll be able to face the day with a clear mind & confidence. Good luck!

Typical teenager. Don’t worry, most people around your age feel the same way. It’s normal.

the friends who went to the beach probably wanted to do something real, instead of wasting their life “texting” to someone. They WANTED you to catch up…but then they realized you never would.
