Eyeliner Smudges All The Time?

I love wearing eyeliner, but I always get a big black smudge underneath my eyelashes — can’t figure out how it’s happening but it does every time! It always looks like somebody beat me up, so I have to be sure & check myself in the mirror all the time.
Any tips on how to prevent this?

Cream eyeliner works for me! You should use that, it really works. And if that doesn’t work, try a gel-based eye pencil that won’t smudge…

Try using a waterproof eyeliner & use a q-tip & dip it in eye shadow & apply it over the eyeliner, works every time! You can also try it with regular eyeliner (not waterproof).

Mac has this really great product called the Fix that is supposed to keep makeup in place for hours if you spray it on after you put your makeup on. I used it for my wedding, & my eyeshadow stayed on, as well as my eyeliner.

If you wear powder on your face, put it on a q tip, & put it along your lashline. This absorbs the oils.
I had this problem too, but Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil stopped the probem.
Remember, the more you put on, the more likely it is to smear.

Get She Laq benefit. It works on eyeliner mascara & lipliner & that. I just use it on eye make-up but it’s great & saves the trouble of buying loads of waterproof products that may smudge aswell or not be the correct colour.http://www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk/gp/pro…

    Maybe you're my love? says:

Simply wear the eyeliner below your eye. Wearing eyeliner on your waterline only makes your eyes appear smaller. I never understood why people wear it there. It smudges because it’s right next to your eye. Your eyes naturally produce fluids, hence the smudging & smearing.
Instead, wear the eyeliner right below your eye, in a thin line. If you want, you can go over the black eyeliner with black eyeshadow. Just use a thin eye makeup brush & cover the tip in eyeshadow. Go over your eyeliner right below your eye with the eyeshadow. This makes the eyeliner appear more intense & it will last longer.
