There could be two reasons. The first is that your eye lids are too moist & you need to clean them with alcohol, The second reason could be the eyelashes you have are too old & they have lost their adhesiveness.
My glue doesn’t make it stick either! I think that it is because the eyelids are moist & because you have to hold it down for a long time…but even though I did that they still fell off!! I think that the glue on my e.l.f. fake eyelashes wasn’t strong enough.
Hi it’s mainly because the glue that comes with the false lashes is usually poor quality. Even with brands such as MAC & Eyelure the glue is still kinda low quality. If you buy glue seperate it is usually of a higher standard & holds with out irritation.

Ardell glues tend to be a little more expensive but worth the extra money & if you have problems removing adhesive they also do a remover too. I always buy my eyelash glue seperate!

First I disagree with the suggestion to clean your eyelids with alcohol ! Please DO NOT DO THIS !! The skin on your eye area is thin & very sensitive, alcohol will strip the natural oils on your lids & dry it out ! To combat oiliness on your eyelids you use POWDER to absorb the oil or most commonly used is a PRIMER . But this is not really the case here.. It sounds like the problem is the glue.
The best glue in market is DUO Eyelash glue. You can get it in either clear or dark ( I personally use clear ) The Key to any good eyelash application is to let the glue get tacky before you apply.
On youtube there are tons of videos that talk about eyelash application & this helped me when I first started using them.

When you put the glue on the eyelash make sure when you apply it to your eye to hold it in place for 30 seconds its because your just sticking them on then they are moving because the glue isnt dry! x
