Eyelash Answers

im just starting to put on eyeliner from about a half a year or so & i tried putting it on today (a new eyeliner, same brand i always use) & it looks like crap. It looks really messy & when I look in the mirror I can see where the eyeliner starts & where my eyelashes start. It doesnt seem that way from when I put it on….any tips on how to put it on?

So I bought a pair tonight. I am familiar with how to apply them & how to remove them…but I am a little weary about actually using them. Has anyone had problems using fake eyelashes? I am sort of afraid they will tear off my existing eyelashes because of the glue. Anyone have problems with skin irritation as well? Any feedback would be welcomed. Should I use them or not?

i have some fake lashes from MAC with the special glue & i tried sooooooo hard to apply them the inner corners seemed to not stick even with the glue it just got lumpy? Do i need to prep the eye before hand or anything special? & does anyone have any ideas on how to easily press them on & with what do you use? your fingers? i tried tweezers it was really bad & the glue got everywhere on my lashes!

I really want thick, black VOLUMIZED lashes, & after using mascara, the still looked thin & unnoticable. I notice this girl who always has LONG, THICK & BLACK lashes (&without her mascara, her lashes are like mine – thin, short & light) so i asked her what mascara she uses, she had THE SAME ONE AS ME! What am i doing wrong? I apply mascara like any other normal person, but its not working. PLEASE DO NOT SUGGEST DIFFERENT MASCARAS, FAKE EYELASHES OR CURLERS! Thanks a bunch!

With fake eyelashes I would not even use mascara. But if I did would say after because after you would get it all over the fake ones.

I am pretty good appyling eyeliner to my upper lids, but everytime I apply it underneath my eyes, it comes out looking funny. It always ends up clumping up in my bottom eyelashes, ugh! Can someone give me some advice please?

Well, I really suck at it, so tips please!!!!! I don’t want it under my eyelashes because I look emo like that.. I want it to be on the eyelash line thingy.. HELP!

I’ve heard so many different things… what’s the truth?

I’ve heard this a few times, but I’m still skeptical. I have thin eyelashes & I was looking for a solution, other than using mascara or other cosmetics.

On some directions it says to put the false lash as close to your lash as possible, but still describe it as being on your lid & on others, they say put it on the lash itself.
Where exactly do you put it?
Also, how do you remove fake lashes?

i just got theese amazing false eyelashes
there really long & have little red beads on top
..i tried to apply them tho
and it was a disaster…the kept goin into the inner corner of my eye…
or else they were to long on the other side

I dont have eyelashes, so I tried fake ones & found out just how hard they are to put on! Are there any tools to make it easier or tips?
please no responses of how false lashes look bad. mine are made from human hair & I dont have existing lashes. I get too many posts saying I shouldnt wear them. Thank you

what works for you? also, how long do i hold down the curler?

I can easily do my bottom lash, but the top lash, I can’t get close enough to my eyelashes & always get a line between them no matter how close I think I’m going. My eyeliner is Bobbi Brown & its a cream one in a tub & I have a brush that I use too. I’ve tried pencils as well, the problem is getting close enough to the lash…any tips? Thanks

Sorry i know it sounds really dorkish but i’m used to the full ones- trying these for the natural effect.

hold the stick near your lash & blink on it. it makes them huge.

no matter what mascara i use my eyelashes always stick together…any tips how 2 prevent this? thanx

I dont always use a lash curler, i use the mascara alone, & perhaps brush my lashes if they need them brushed.
if you do need to curl try & do it first or wait til your mascara dries to do it.
