Eyelash Answers

I would like to brighten my eyes up for picture day (which is today). I have very very dark brown eyes. My eyelashes are also pretty dark already but I’m planning on putting on black mascara & curling them. I have dark brown hair & side bangs so my left eye is almost completely covered. I have arched eye brows already. My eyes are pretty big & I don’t want them any bigger. I want to brighten up my eyes so they wont be so dull & dark. My skin is fair also & I have a few freckles on my nose & cheeks if that matters. Any Ideas?
Also if you have any tips for the rest of my make up that would be great.

I have a heart shaped face with Dark brown eyes & brown hair that goes a little past my shoulders. I have arched eyebrows & sort of long eyelashes. I’m 5′6 & Really pale & very slender. I think i’m alright looking, not ugly but i just want to brighten my appearance.
what are some things i could do to brighten my eyes or just my entire face? also, how do i get my eyelashes to really stand out & be long & beautiful? Like what brand? Good make up tips??
