i read an article about a man who cut his 3 inch eyebrows for charity which lead me to this question: how does some hair know when to stop growing & some just grows non-stop? the hair that stops at certain lengths are body hair (arms, legs chest & back) eyebrows, armpits & eyelashes. the hair that grows continuously are head (scalp) & facial (beard/moustache). an even bigger question is how does the hair that stops growing know when it’s been cut. like if i were to cut my eyebrows right now it would grow back, but they’ve been the same length my entire life. how does my body know my eyebrows have been cut? why don’t they grow continuously like the hair on my head & face? furthermore, what is the purpose of the scalp if hair can apparently grown anywhere on your body? just by observation i would guess it’s because the hair on your head grows more dense than everywhere else, & that is the scalp’s doing. now if that is the case, does this mean that hairy animals entire body is a scalp? lol, i know this sounds silly but i’ve been wanting to know this for a long time.

no it doesn’t, it just clumps them together & make them LOOK longer & fuller, try more protein in your diet but I do seriously doubt that that will help. Eyelashes have a terminal growth, meaning they only grow to a certain length & then stop growing longer…else everyone would be walking around with 18 foot long eyelashes & not be able to see..cha!! when was the last time that you heard of someone needing an eyelash trim???

probably not, but there are a few things you can try.
I think there are a few last conditioners on the market that you can use to make them less brittle, but I may have made that up. It could be a moisturizing eye makeup remover that made mine soft, or baby oil, which can also be used to remove makeup.
If you curl your lashes AFTER applying mascara, you’re probably just sticking, & that will cause them to pull out. If this is what happens, curl them prior to using mascara.
There are also volumizing, lengthening, & curling mascaras that you may try. Some of them may even come in a clear formula, but I haven’t investigated the makeup aisle for some time.
I had curler one time that was plastic, rather than metal. It was a little bit thicker, & the pad was more wide & thick, also. If you can find one of those… it’s more bulky, but may be a little easier on the lashes as far as sticking, pulling, & breaking.
There is also a heated eyelash curler. It’s metal, so the pieces are a bit more narrow, but the heat may help curl with less pressure on the lashes, which will also curb sticking & breaking. You may search for it on google & see what you come up with.

I know that there’s prescription stuff & I know that mascara can make your eyelashes appear longer, that’s not what I’m looking for..
I want something like an oil or I don’t know, a natural remedy of some sort that will help my eyelashes grow.
I had a friend who got an oil in Mexico that was supposedly for making lashes longer & healthier, I never noticed much of a difference when she used it but others say the opposite about the oil for them
ahhhhhhh, I just want longer eyelashes! If anyone knows anything, let me know please!!!

I also cut off my eyelashes i’m regretting allottt but i heard that if you drink milk, both your hair & eyelashes will grow out faster. But i’m lactose & tolerant so i cant drink regular milk, will soy milk have the same property as regular milk or should i consider talking lactose pills?

Had a bad eye infection in both eyes about six years ago. First eye doctor incorrectly diagnosed it as just being irritation & gave me steroid drops to help. My eyes would get so inflamed & itchy that I would constantly pull out my eyelashes because I though they were in my eyes & that was what was irritating them. About a year later, I saw another eye doctor that told me I had an infection in both eyes & gave me antibiotics & it went away. However, ever since then, I have this predeliction for pulling out my eyelashes. I don’t really go after the ones on my bottom lids, but my top lids are constantly under attack & are starting to get to the point where they are not growing back in spots. I’m desperate to stop this but I think may have gotten to the point where this is now a nervous tick (ie. I do it when I’m nervous or under pressure, etc…) & I don’t want to look like a freak with no eyelashes. Has anyone ever had experience with this and/or have any adivce?

This is the sixth night I’ve moped around. In two hours time it’ll be the seventh day. My hands are clammy with the tears they’ve gathered while cupped over my face & also with the cold sweat of

I find myself shaking with anger. It was his plan wasn’t it? God’s plan to have her stolen from the front yard that afternoon.
Great isn’t it? A mother leaves the her to go make lemon-aid for her thirsty daughter & she, with the tray, comes back only to the sight of her missing. I can’t tell you how fast that colorful,
drink holding tray fell to the concrete. The sound of metal on stone is enough to send shivers up your spine, as if I didn’t have enough at that moment as it was.
Her toys, her brush; everything but *her* was there! I panicked & yelled out her name. “Maybell…MAAAYBELLLL?!!” When no response made its way into my ears, I ran into the house, fumbling to
push the right numbers on the kitchen’s wall phone. I managed to dial 911 between extreme shakes of fear & listened as it rang. After what seemed like too long, a dispatcher picked up.
“911, what’s your emergency?”
“My daughter,” i say while exhaling, ever more panicked, “she, she’s missing!!!”
