Removing fake eyelashes is not as challenging as it may seem. You’re probably afraid of pulling out your natural lashes along with the false ones because of the glue. No worries!
Things You’ll Need:
Cotton swab
Eye makeup remover( oil )or cold cream
Wall mirror
Facial tissue
Tweezers
Cotton pad
Step 1
Dip a cotton swab in a generous amount of eye makeup remover or cold cream, whichever is currently available to you.
Step 2
Half close the eye you want to work on while looking straight into a wall mirror. Gently slather the eye makeup remover onto your lash line, where your fake eyelashes are attached. Let sit for a full minute so the product weakens the lash glue.
Step 3
Wipe the excess eye makeup remover off with a facial tissue so you can prevent the product from getting into your eye as much as possible before you open it. Gingerly take the outer corner of your full strip lash inwards. It should budge now with little to no resistance. For individual lashes, use a pair of tweezers to gently take them out. Be careful to concentrate only on the tip so you don’t pull your natural lashes out.
Step 4
Repeat on other eye.
Step 5
Remove the rest of your eye makeup with cotton pads that have been absorbed with eye makeup remover before washing your face. This should thoroughly get rid of the remnants of your fake lash adhesive.
Tips
Never sleep in fake eyelashes, as that can make them harder to remove.
Don’t throw away the fake eyelash packaging, because they can be stored again for later use.
Do not tug or pull hard on the fake eyelashes when trying to remove them, as this will remove your natural lashes as well.

Just remove your makeup how you usually do it, but dodge your eyelashes.

None! Hair glue is not safe for eyes! Buy some Lashgrip from walgreens its basically $3 – $4. NEVER USE HAIR GLUE FOR YOUR EYES!

I am asian, & I have a short eyelashes. I’ve been thinking to get this done on me but considering the price that i found online it cost $185 for first time & to touch it up it cost $55. How much do they cost? Do they hurt getting done? Are there any risks? How long do they last? How do they stick them on? Will they damage my real eyelashers? Can you wear mascara, wash around your eyes without them coming off?

Can you please tell me what type of tape i can purchse for my eyelash extension professional to use on me next time that has VERY LITTLE adhesive or any type of under eye pad that eliminates the use of adhesive ? Please help. The lady used tape & when she pulled it off, a layer of skin went with it & it scabbed under my eye. my skin is very very senstive. please help with any alternatives to avoid this as well as wrinkles !!

I “job shadowed” (via Vocation Vacations) a stylist that also does eyelash extensions. What I observed is that, done right, it is a long process. For the client, you have to pretty much lay quietly for about 2 hours. It also is not an inexpensive thing. The extensions I saw were applied to individual lash. They have to be placed very carefully (a short distance away from the eyelid, so there is no risk of damaging the eyelash follicle). The most discomfort for the client is probably just having to lay quietly for 2 hours, & the fact that a special pad is placed around your eyes to help make the eyelashes stand out.
