How can I make my top lip not look so thin? Also, what can I do for my eyebrows? I have red hair as you can see, so my eyebrows are blonde. My eyelashes are also blonde & I normally just put mascara on the top lashes because when I put it on the bottom lashes it looks weird. What can I do for that?

I’m bored of the way I do my make-up, eye make-up mainly. I’ve been doing it the same forever. IF you can’t tell, I wear eyeshadow that matches my shirt usually or a pretty, shimmery brown. I wear eyeliner from the outer corner to the middle on my upper & lower lid waterlines. I wear mascara & curl my eyelashes a lot. That’s pretty much it.
I want to bring out my eyes more & make them look pretty, especially if I smile because my eyes squint a little.
Give me some ideas or tips please.

hair: dark brown with a reddish tint, neither thick or thin but closer to thick, wavy/curly. sometimes can get a little frizzy but when it does frizz, its mild. not very shiny or glossy.
eyes: almond shaped, medium to dark brown with gold & green undertones, medium eyelashes(neither long or short, thick or thin) & jet black. DARK CIRCLES ALL AROUND MY EYES(realllllly want help for this)
skin: sometimes its oily, sometimes peely & dry. very pale. very mild acne(breakouts but not like extreme.)
teeth: a little crooked(getting braces soon) & not white at all…
lips: top lip is very thin & bottom lip is medium-full. they are a medium to dark pink.
eyebrows: short & sort of bushy. a lot of stray hairs. no arch.
other things: regular sized forehead, small nose, no freckles.

I shambled along the road that leads to home, reluctant to arrive just yet. It was darkening now & the cold was beginning to bite my hands & nose. It was drizzling as well, not enough to warrant an umbrella, but enough to cause annoyance. My feet slapped against the wet ground, the sound echoed & made it clear that I was alone. The air hung with that autumn smell: bonfires with the underlying scent of crisp, cold air. The streetlights cast a burnt orange light onto this scene.
I swung the front door open & felt obliged to whisper; so as not to break the silence that had enveloped the house. I kicked my shoes off into a corner. I glanced a mirror & turned to confront it. I glared at the image there- challenging it. A swarm of freckles were smeared across my nose & cheeks. My nose curved upwards slightly & my lips were thin & tight. My hair was a nondescript mouse-brown which was in need of washing & the long, thin plaits clung to my scalp. My eyes were, in my opinion, the only good part of me. They were quite large & hazel & rimmed by long, dark eyelashes. I lifted my top & grabbed a handful of fat, the skin was pale & lightly freckled, wishing I could pull it off & just be done with it.
I dragged my eyes away & went to turn the computer on. It was primitive & took almost five minutes to hum & whir into life. There was an unread email- an unusual occurrence; to everyone at school I was just a dirty, disgusting “lesbo”. The words rooted me to my seat:
“We have been watching you. I can help.”
Despite the comforting quality & meaning of the words, I realised that the hairs on my arms & the back of my neck were standing up. Hands shaking slightly, I tapped back:
“Who are you?”
“You don’t have any idea?” was the instant reply. I thought for a second before repeating;
“Who are you?” Again the reply came almost instantaneously,
“Overtime we have been known as many things: seraphim, devas, Malaa’ika, Fravishi. I am an Angel Laurel.”
I swear my heart skipped a beat. My stomach contracted & tightened in a sinking motion. And the very idea forced an uneasy laugh from my lips… but I couldn’t totally dismiss the notion. For some reason it was easier to believe, isolated in an empty house, than in the whirl & agitation of day to day life.
I was fairly sure I was an Agnostic. But any god would always be thought about as distant. Not really relevant or important at the time. Something that was best left for later life. While I had been sitting there, letting it sink it & contemplating the idea, another email had popped up
“Do you trust me?” Taking a deep breath & steeling myself inside I wrote,
“I think so.”
Again the answer was almost instantaneous:
“Then come & meet me on Arbury Road, by the church in ten minutes.”
I felt as if it wasn’t me that tugged her coat on & locked the door; like I was watching another Laurel Yourke. I don’t know what strange volition caused me to go, but I remember feeling almost pulled- like a moth to a flame- towards the meeting place. Uncertainty was drowned out by an intense curiosity.
Stomach twisted with apprehension & heart beating fast I turned round the corner, onto Arbury Road. Instead of seeing someone which could have guided me, looked after me & numbed the pain of the insufferable loneliness I constantly felt… I saw a crowd of around seven boys & girls- all of whom where in the year above me at school. I stood like a deer in headlights, shock rooting me to the spot & I felt a lump rise in my throat. As soon as they saw me they erupted into peals of helpless laughter. One of the boys was roaring over & over again “I can’t believe she believed us. I can’t believe she actually fell for it.”
Here another chimed in with:
“She is seriously messed up. Haha, what a whack job!”
I turned & ran blindly, until my legs couldn’t carry me any further. The jeers still hung in the air. To me they were everywhere – I could feel them on my skin, making me feel dirty. Tears had over flown long ago & were streaming uncontrollably down my face, & showing no sign of stopping. Sobs wracked my body & my shoulders heaved up & down. I was aching with pain & embarrassment.
Eventually the crying subsided, the howling turned to snivels which eventually died down to nothing but the occasional moan or sniff. I yawned & realised that I was sitting on a grassy park of some sort. Crying had completely exhausted me, so I curled into a ball & lay on the damp grass in the foetal position- looking at the stars. Just thinking… The email earlier although it had lead to immense embarrassment, the subject had interested me.

I have very dark brown & curly hair & really large blue eyes, heavy lids, & naturally long eyelashes. I really think this is quite pretty but I would like to make my eyes a bit more dramatic, like really stand out, & make the contrast with my hair more distinctive. I am not very pale & not very dark, medium, I guess. also, are there any lipstick or lipgloss colours that would help with this? what lipstick should I choose? I have what i have learned is called “rosebud-shaped” lips. thank you very much.

Hi I am 15 years old.
this is how i currently do my makeup.
I put a light shimmery champagne eyeshadow on eyelids. its not too simmery, but its not like plain either.
I put a line medium width of liquid eyeliner. & i add mascara to give me the fake eyelash look. i like the way my eyelashes look though. haha
and then for my face i add liquid foundation (works best for me) & concealer to conceal dark circles. I add bronzer all over face because after my foundation i am pasty white, so bronzer gives me some color. then i add blush on my cheeks. i make a fish face & apply diagonally. the blush is like rosy pink.
can someone give me tips on how to do my makeup?

my eyes are always sore & red,i do suffer with dry eye so use optrex eye drops,eye wash, lid cleaners,warm water,irratated dry eye dops along with many many more tryed & tested medicines including tablets.Alot of the time my eyes tend to have eyelashes or other small hairs fall within them & i can never get them out so they can stay there for a week or so,often feels like there at the back of my eye & get comfortable so cant feel the pain as much or them moving around,then the hair/eyelash will move within my eye & i have no choice but to turn my lid up & scrape it out with my finger as cant see it but can 100% feel it,(i understand i shouldnt do this) but i have too ! i will eventually get it out & pain dyes down along with redness & swelling.An eye bath or cold water dont seem to help or assist me,ive been to the eye clinic many times with my eyelid swollen & very red,they look into it (drops etc) but state there is nothing there which does get me down as ill often get it out myself sometime later, why cant they see it ? ive been to eye clinic also just to see the eye doctor who states i have dry eye as the ‘paper test they do ‘ proves it, then just fobs me off & says come back in 3 – 5 months, im getting no where,its taking over my life,people must think im on drugs etc,ive tryed so so many things & costs a fortune.I dont have normal eyes clearly, but they seem to be getting much much worse within last 11 months,i work in a clean office enviroment,clean house,no dogs or rodents.i bathe them alot. its hard not to rub, when i wake up in the morning there not sticky but very painful to open as it feels like my lids stuck to eyeball & are still red,i do get 8 hours sleep a night on average, its making me so so tired now & is giving me regular headaches just above my eyes within that area.somebody please assist me. many thanks

Ok so I have strawberry blonde hair with freckles. I like to wear make-up but I am looking for something different. Without make-up I look like an albino because I have blonde eyebrows & eyelashes. I put on eyebrow darker for blondes to make it look natural. I also have greenish-hazel eyes. What color would you recommend for eyeliner & eyeshadow? I usually wear neutral make-up since I am fair skinned & I don’t wear any black make-up because it looks funky on me. Can you give me any advice?

a year ago i moved out of my parent’s house & the state. i’ve always been very close to my parents, especially my mom & i’ve kept in touch with them by phone of course & i hadn’t noticed anything out of the ordinary. i finally got the chance to go back home for a week & i was disturbed by mother’s behavior.
now, she is not an old woman (she just turned 58) but it’s like that little twinkle that was always in her eyes is gone. she used to always have a comment for everything & a spring in her step, but the woman that i’ve come home to has none of that. it’s like she’s someone else. i tried to tell her about the college i’ll be attending & the apartment i found & she didn’t even ask one question. it wasn’t like she was unhappy with my choices, it was like she was indifferent. i don’t know what is going on. my dad is the same as ever & hasn’t mentioned anything to me at all. I asked her if having me here was a little awkward at first & she took my hand & said “no my babycakes is home” that was closest thing to real emotion that she’s showed in the last 3 days. i just can’t understand her behavior. it’s like in 1 year she’s aged 10 years & is just blah about everything.
she is on several medications, but i’ve checked their interactions & there is none. my fiance says that i’m worrying too much & that my parents are just getting older, but i feel like something is seriously wrong. do i sound crazy? she always wanted to do things before. i mean all i had to do was mention going here or going there & she was always ready to go, but i mentioned trying to decide on wedding rings, knowing that she is (or was) a jewelry freak & she didn’t even bat an eyelash. i really want this time with them to go well as it will be quite some time before i see them again, but it seems like it she doesn’t even notice that i am here.
can anyone out there offer some advice. i am desperate for a clue to what’s going on. i know that my parents are getting along better than ever, they’re even thinking of remodeling their house together. if it isn’t the medications, their relationship or any other thing that i can think of, is it me? is she depressed that i’ve left? i am seriously considering asking if she wants me to move back home, even though that isn’t very practical. what do i do? she won’t talk to me. it’s like she doesn’t realize anything is amiss.

I went to Sephora the other day & I was sold a heated eylash curler & this flamboyant guy sold my this $15 peice of crap !!! I believed him because he swore by it …And he was extremely flamboyant !
I WANT MY OLD HEATED EYELASH CURLER FROM RITE AID retail priced at $4.75 . I mean it broke after 4 months , but it worked better!
