Eyelash Answers

I just put on mascara, & the tips of my eyelashes were almost past my eyebrows, idk if it looks weird or not. Is that weird? average? “special”?
I know I can’t trim them, that would hurt like a motherrr

I have very thin hard to notice eyelashes & they are very fine.im not allowed to wear mascara yet & i need help. I recentaly had someone ask me if I plucked my eyebrows [ i dont] & i got embarrassed. My eyebrows are thinning on the side & i dont know how to make them grow. [ i used to have this habit of pulling at my eyebrows & the hairs would come out]

i have really short eyelashes.
ive been trying to use mascara to make it longer but i always have trouble using the eyelash curler…
it always pinches my skin & it hurts really bad.
if i dont use it there is no point of using the mascara because my eyelashes are so down low.
it sometimes works when im doing my right eye, but i cant even do my left eye because i always pinch my skin.
are there any tips to prevent pinching? any tips to lift my lashes more? & i would also like to know how to use mascara properly. thanks.

Is there a good foundation & powder that would:
a) make my face look less shiny
b) Keep it from being so oily
and
c) make it to where it stayed that way ALL day long.

I want full, long lashes, but i don’t want it to be real clumpy.

i want to buy a mac pigment shadow you know the lose powder type? but im haveing a really hard time picking a colour. i want a colour that will make my eyelashes stand out so it must be a light colour. i have green/blue eyes thanks

my friend invited me to the valentines dance at her school. I already have an outfit selected & I need makeup that would compliment the outfit & my face (really hard, I’m not exactly pretty…) but anyway, here’s the outfit:
Black & white checkered double layer miniskirt,
black leggings,
black eyeliner,
black shirt with a square cut chest & slightly puffy sleeves.
home made necklace (tin, looks like a chain of staples)
And here’s what I look like:
dark brown shoulder length hair,
thick & long eyelashes
thick russian eyebrows
long-ish nose
slight acne on forehead
brown eyes
small birthmark right under my lower lip
pierced ears
about 4′10″
I don’t wear any pink under any circumstances. whatsoever.
this is my first time asking for makeup advice, & I’d just like makeup & hair. I’d really like a sort of punk look with just a SLIGHT hint of girly.

I have been pulling out my eyelashes for about two years. I am so upset that i have no eyelashes, but i think this is a mental disorder, i read in a magazine. does anyone else have this problem, & how did they get their eyelashes to grow back?

I need advice on the best ways to reduce picking hairs & also help on my eyelashes, there hardly there any more & there very weak & thin i heard putting Vaseline on them every night makes them thicker & stronger is this true? any other good info that could help me?
also help on my eyebrows would be good too. but arm hairs aren’t exactly a bad thing that there not there
answers from people who have had or have Trichotillomania would be better as they understand what its like otherwise no silly comments from people about this problem because you really have no idea some of the things that trigger this off & im not ready for stupid comments about it yet im trying to get over this.

Hi, I’m 35 years old & have been married to my wife for 6 years, been together for 12. She has stage 4 cancer, has had it for a few years now & it does not get easier. She hasnt been responding well to any aggressive treatments, & is sick in bed except saturdays & sundays. I dont want to sound rude but what I am about to ask I DO NOT need any rude comments. She was never a jealous person but now whenever I look she starts crying, & says it makes her feel so ugly because well ya know she lost her hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, etc. She does have wig, fake eyelashes, etc but that still doesnt change how she feels inside. I try so hard not to look & I really dont do it on purpose. I think she is the most beautiful woman, even bald. She is my hero. I try & compliment her all the time, make nice dinners, surprise her with gifts. I dont know what else to do. I hate making her feel this way. Of course our sex life has in hault…except once a week but even then its hard for me bc I know how sick she is. I tried explaining that to her which was a bad idea bc now she feels worse about herself. I am still attracted to her, but am more scared about losing her. I do masturbate a few times a week but its more of a stress reliever. So has anyone dealt with this? Or anyone ever had a jealous partner? I do understand why she feels the way she does I just wish that she could see I dont really care about other women….I might still glance, but I honestly could care less…bc her being sick made me realize what really matters, etc.I just dont know what to do. It tears me up inside. We have spoken to counselors, her doctor, etc. They have all said its the strong treatments shes getting, & of course bc of how her appearance has changed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated please. Again, I dont need anyones crap with stupid answers.

I have had continuous eye gunk for many years now. It is kind of like what you would find from dry scalp. It is not discharge in a liquid form at all, it is very dry. I have lived two different places since it has happened, & I can remember it for at least almost 7 years. It is dry & itchy & occurs mainly around where the eyelashes meet the eyelid. Also, it is somewhat difficult to remove (it doesn’t come off easily with a damp, warm washcloth, or with water at all.)
I tried to look it up, & the only thing I can find is ‘rheum’ or ‘gound’. But, that stuff is natural, whereas mine is excessive.

okay sooo i was curling my eyelashes this morning & my soab of a cat decided to jump on me & i jerked my arm & then out came about 30 f*****ng lashes, & im supposed to be going to prom but uh i dont see that happenning with only half of my eyelashes & i really dont want to wait 4-8 weeks for them to grow back
got anything for me????

When I apply mascara, my right eyelashes do good, straight, long, etc. But when I go to my left eyelashes they look awful!! I have no idea why either. When I’m applying mascara they look all clunky & straight & some clump on top of one another.. do you have any tips?

no it doesn’t, it just clumps them together & make them LOOK longer & fuller, try more protein in your diet but I do seriously doubt that that will help. Eyelashes have a terminal growth, meaning they only grow to a certain length & then stop growing longer…else everyone would be walking around with 18 foot long eyelashes & not be able to see..cha!! when was the last time that you heard of someone needing an eyelash trim???

I have out together a outfit from other costumes & it looks just like a fairy & i have eyelashes that have gold tips & i need wings but what color choices would be best?

will vaseline help stop my eyelashes from getting ruined, from using mascara everyday? I usually put it on after i remove my mascara or used vaseline to remove the makeup, would this help in anyway?

Ok so i’ve had really long eye lashes, but for dance a long time ago i wore fake ones & since i pulled them off & wear mascara everyday, whenever i wash my face & things like that, 1 or 2 eye lashes falls out will the grow back? how can i prevent it? how can i grow longer eyelashes fast?
