This is going to be a long question.
Well school starts in about 3 or 4 weeks. I guess I’m pretty, but I’m tired of being known as the “cute one” to all of my friends. I want to look prettier, hotter, & more mature. I also want to look like a girl guys stop & stare at. But I don’t want to lose myself!!
I’m going into high school.
I’m maybe 4′11″. Pretty short. I have medium skin that tans to a dark walnut in the summer. I have almond shaped dark brown eyes, & dark brown hair. I’m really thin, & people make fun of me for it & being short. I have a small amount of really long (overgrown) layers, & overgrown sidebangs.
My style is like a t-shirt, jeans, polos, sneakers kind. Really casual.
I have a bunch of questions, for different categories.
HAIR

2) Does giving yourself natural highlights with apple cider vinegar (1 cup water, 1 cup ACV) actually work? I’m tempted to try, because my mom doesn’t want me to go to a salon for highlights & she won’t let me buy a kit.

I actually have no curling iron, but if I wanted my hair curly I usually use braids & sleep in them overnight. I also own a hair dry (but no straightener). Do I just have to make really loose braids to get the waves?
4) Is there a way to make your hair grow a little faster? I want it to be a little longer before it gets cut.
5) Any cute hairstyles, casual like messy buns, etc.?
6) Any healthy hair tips?

ive heard various instances where castor oil helps grow & thicken eyelashes (& eyebrows)….well on one site i read various reviews saying it does the opposite effect….SO WHICH IS RIGHT? does it thicken them or not? i need to naturally hide my uglyness without wearing gunk everyday (aka makeup)..
if castor oil doesn’t work, do any of these things:
emu oil, vitamin e oil, folligen cream, copper peptide (where do you buy that local?)…etc?

i want to start wearing eye make-up, but i don’t know what kind would match my skin & eye color.My skin is light & my eyes are a hazily green. i don’t like the way they look in many make-ups & i don’t know how to fix it. also my eyelashes are already very dark, so i don’t need mascara. they are beautiful, but the rest of my face is not.

I posted this before but I got no answers, & I’ve made some changes. I’m working on writing a teen-aimed fantasy novel & am working mostly on planning it out before I dive into writing, because planning is important. I wanted some opinions & suggestions for my characters.
Elizabeth Skyera Mellson (Skyera)- Goes by Skyera because her step sister shares her first name. She is 16, Has curly red hair, is very small, & has green eyes. She is very different & likes to wear bright colors. She talks a lot, & many people find her very annoying. She’s not afraid to speak her mind, & often does it when uncalled for. She has one close friends, Christine, & falls in love with Kaison. Her mother is dead so she lives with her step dad & step sister.
Kaison Smith- He’s from another dimension but somehow mysteriously ended up in our world. Like a child, he’s still learning the ways of our society. He often looses control of his emotions & goes through fits of anger & depression, but he is extremely innocent & kind. He falls in love with Skyera. He has dark hair, brown eyes, & pale skin. Unknown age. Took up the last name Smith when he came to our world because it was inconspicuous. Falls in love with Skyera.
Christine Gianne Brown- Skyera’s best friend. She is very quiet & allows people to take advantage of her. She is extremely kind & an amazing friend. She has black hair, blue eyes, & wears glasses.
Elizabeth Leigha Widenser- Skyera’s step sister. Never intentionally cruel, but her pride causes her to come across as arrogant at times. Sometimes, she cares more than she needs to about superficial things, but cares alot about many people, such as her father, her friends, & her boyfriend, Robbie. Brown hair, blue eyes, & is very tall.
Leomsen Teorsoss- The ambassodor of our dimension on the organization that makes sure all dimensions are sealed from each other. They find out about Kaison, & want to send him back to his own dimension, but by this point he’s already deeply in love with Skyera. His refusal to return angers the organization, & they decide they must kill both Kaison & Skyera. Leomsen hates those who offend him or oppose him, & basically anyone with views that differ from his own.
Robert Shay Hayse (Rob)- Elizabeth’s boyfriend. He plays soccer & is quite handsome. He’s very arrogant.
Richard Widenser- Skyera’s step father & Elizabeth’s father. Though he cares for Skyera, he has a natural tendacy to care more about his biological daughter more.
??? – Elizabeth’s best friend. Very pretty. Long blond hair, dark long eyelashes, & stunning blue eyes that appear violet in the right lighting. Never rude, & is often considered perfect.
I can’t decide on a name for her. I was thinking Claire, than Anneliese, that Catya (kot-ee-uh), than Kayta, then Laurette. And I was thinking maybe Riley as the last name… but I’m not sure. I want one that sounds kind of girly & sophisticated, but than I was thinking odd. What do you think?
Do you like all the characters & the names? None of them sound too cliche & none of the names are horrible or don’t fit at all? Any suggestions?

A bit about myself 21 yrs old almost 22, Microbiology major who takes 17+units every semester & I am getting married in five months lol. I don’t have time to make myself look good really. I’m a wash & go type of girl & I don’t like to use straighteners because my hair gets damaged easy even when I do not style it. I wash & let air dry. I am allergic to sulphates so I am using special baby shampoo & my hair somewhat isn’t as damaged but it still gets bad. Anyways PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A COMMENT ABOUT HOW I LOOK. I know I am not the prettiest thing to look at this is about what haircut & hair color I should get. My hair is wavy & fine. All of these pictures I have no make up on except MAC viva glam V lipglass, white eyeliner & I curl my eyelashes but no mascara. My cheeks are red because it was 110 degrees that day I usually have a more even skin tone. The first picture is before I brushed my hair(don’t you love bf’s haha they always take weird pictures of you) lol so you can see the texture & also that is my skin tone(Mac NC40 which means I have yellow undertones)I have no idea why I got whitewashed in the other pictures.
So THE MAIN POINTS
what hair cut would go well with my face & my hair texture(fine & wavy) & still allow me to wash & go?
what hair color would go well with my skin tone?(again look at the first picture)?
Any other tips to keep my hair healthy & not as easily damaged?
Also any other tips to make me look better are welcome as well just don’t insult me please.

I am a scene kid.
A poser, fake, whatever.
I used to be a prep, but i turned scene this year.
Hair extensions, makeup, everything.
I wear so much makeup i look disgusting, & i even wear fake eyelashes.
I’m caught up in this fake-*** trend that I used to think was so cool.
At school I always get called “fake, poser, wannabe”
And i realized today, that I am.
I buy these clothes I hate because I think kids will like it.
I say things i shouldn’t, because I think people will think i’m cooler.
I tell everyone that i’m not a virgin, but I am..
I tell everyone i’ve done weed, when the only thing i’ve done is Hooka.
I swear, make up lies, & cheat so people like me.
Its killing me on the inside, & I want to stop.
I want everyone to know the real me. But i’m so far along in this lie that I dont even know what to do….
But I cant.
I’m caught in this stupid trend, with people knowing that i’m a freak, & I can’t keep myself happy.
Someone help me. What do I do?

I’m 17 years old & have had hair loss for over 2 years now. I first noticed it on my scalp but it seems to have spread to my eyelashes, pubic hair, & eyebrows. The hairs from my scalp have little white bulbs at the ends when they fall out & my scalp has an odd smell even after washing. Irregular periods(since they started), lightheaded often, tired a lot, & being dizzy at times are my other symptoms. I’ve been to my general doctor, a dermatologist, endocrinologist, & a gynecologist & none of them have been able to help me. I’ve had normal results on blood tests for hormone levels, thyroid, & others I don’t remember. I’ve also tried to take metformin pills & birth control pills that didn’t help all my symptoms. I don’t really know what to do next & my hair loss is getting worse. Any suggestions or advice would be great. Thanks

Okay so i have my dance recital this weekend & Therese a girl in my class that its her first year dancing & she has no clue on how to go about doing her makeup so i offered she said yes im good at applying makeup to myself but i never did it to anyone else. Any tips she has straight eyelashes i don’t no how to deal with that because i have curly & she has like black hair please help . 5 stars for the longest detailed one.(we use mascara, lipstick(red), eye showdow & glitter shadow & powder sprinkle thing)

So i’m Asians but i have big eyes for an Asian
I also do have double eye lids
But like any other Asian i have brown eyes, but mine are a light brown

My eyelashes are long enough(and curly), but they are a bit gappy & look awful.
I want to use false lashes, but have no idea where to start, i bought some recently but they just wouldnt stick, i think it was because my real ones were in the way?
Does anyone know how to sort of straighten my own ones so they arent pushing up on the fake ones? & can anyone recommend a good brand?? I live in wales (UK) so nothing american please lol. I have tried the individual lashes to try & fill the gaps but theres nothing to stick them to. & also they just come out easily. Can anyone share any tips please? thankyou

I heard these were good so I went & bought like 3 packs – ive never used false eyelashes before & it was a lot harder than i thought!
they wouldnt stick!! it says they are self adhesive, i think those were defective but also it was hard trying to put it on my lashes since i had to close my eye & then my hand was in the way! lol

makeup: I’m 12. i dont wana look trashy, & just want a fast way to do makeup. please NO comments about how im too young, your opinion is TOTALLY POINTLESS to me! anyway…saying i always use my acne routine, my skin type is normal, & i have brown hair, light/fair/kinda pale complexion. i get pimples if i dont use my acne stuff & wen i do, they are very small pimples that u normally cant see too well. i have brown eyes, very dark & beautiful eyelashes, & i do NOT like mascara bcuz it tends to break my lashes. i’d like to know some nice, natural colors for my face, & which is better; black or brown eyeliner for me? i’m really just looking for great stuff on my eyes but lip stuff is welcome too. i dont really use anything for my overall face, like blush or foundation. although i always have VERY dark circles, & wat type of concealer should i use for that?

over the last 6 months my eyelids have had it,small white bumps on the corners closest to my nose that wont dissappear,and for the last 3 months i got this big one on my upper eyelide that is really getting to me.ive been prescribed,fusidic acid drops,erythromycin ointment,and 100mg gen-minocycline pill form.my eyelashes are falling out & growing crooked into my eyes & is also annoying.and please dont respond with hot compress 3 to 5 times a day.cause it does nothing but make my eye look for more red & swollen.my doctor is an idiot i think.im really disappointed in modern medicine if they cant even treat something as simple as this.what should i do?
