Eyelash Answers

I recently bought a lipstick this color from M.A.C.http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr…
ive been told that you should only highlight & emphasize one feature when using makeup.I was thinking of using mascara that creates the illusion of thicker & longer eyelashes.Is that okay or is just best to highlight my lips with the lipstick?

i am a medium colored brunette, with blue grey eyes and…interesting skin, its not REALLY pale but not REALLY tan either, & kind of orangy yellow….so in between i guess. but i want to know what kind of lipstick to wear with grey eyeliner & false eyelashes, nude maybe??
