Eyelash Answers

I’m 17 years old & have had hair loss for over 2 years now. I first noticed it on my scalp but it seems to have spread to my eyelashes, pubic hair, & eyebrows. The hairs from my scalp have little white bulbs at the ends when they fall out & my scalp has an odd smell even after washing. Irregular periods(since they started), lightheaded often, tired a lot, & being dizzy at times are my other symptoms. I’ve been to my general doctor, a dermatologist, endocrinologist, & a gynecologist & none of them have been able to help me. I’ve had normal results on blood tests for hormone levels, thyroid, & others I don’t remember. I’ve also tried to take metformin pills & birth control pills that didn’t help all my symptoms. I don’t really know what to do next & my hair loss is getting worse. Any suggestions or advice would be great. Thanks

yes they will grow back, but only if you stop pulling them out, if they look really thin or something you can use fake lashes till they grow back

My one year old kid has blond eyelashes on her right eyelid, dark eyelashes on the other. Have you heard of this before? I know you can can have multi colored hairs, my facial hair is this way, but having one side of eyelashes is blond, the other dark strikes me as different. Not that it is a bad thing, personally I love it. But I am curious about it.

I don’t know the whole story, only that when she was younger she was in an accident involving a stove. As a result, her eyelashes were singed off but thankfully her eyes sustained little damage.
But, since then, she has only been able to grow eyelashes at the corners of her eyes, the middle portion of her eyelids are totally void of any eyelashes!!
She hates how weird it looks plus she is scared that bacteria & unwanted irritants will get in her eyes if she doesn’t do something.
She has tried fake eyelashes but find them difficult to put on & take off every day.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for her??

What’s the correct form for a married person to avoid any offence, wrong ideas, etc, if a close friend of the opposite sex has an eyelash on their cheek;
Ignore it?
Tell them & leave it to them?
Tell them & remove it?
Tell them & offer to remove it?

I heard Aloe Vera is good for the lashes?. Is there a way to do this naturally?.
P.s don’t just say get fake lashes that’s not what i am asking.

I would like to brighten my eyes up for picture day (which is today). I have very very dark brown eyes. My eyelashes are also pretty dark already but I’m planning on putting on black mascara & curling them. I have dark brown hair & side bangs so my left eye is almost completely covered. I have arched eye brows already. My eyes are pretty big & I don’t want them any bigger. I want to brighten up my eyes so they wont be so dull & dark. My skin is fair also & I have a few freckles on my nose & cheeks if that matters. Any Ideas?
Also if you have any tips for the rest of my make up that would be great.

I have fake eyelashes that are stick on, but they don’t stick too well, & i need to find a way to keep them on without using glue.. .I do not have that.

Tomorrow Is a party & I am going to be a bit of an outsider,
basically I am making a statement, the guy i like who is going hasn’t seen me in a while & i need to look completely to different to before.
I am curling my hair, black skinny jeans with very high black shoes & this beautiful river island sparkly top, my eyes are going to be bold & black with eyeliner & the lot – the one thing i can never get right is the mascara, i heat my eyelash curler, but i can never get it right.
what is the best mascara from superdrug?? Please help!!
Also, how do i get my barry m as dark as possible?

Unfortunatly you can’t get them to grow. You can make them longer with mascara & false lashes like you said. I have seen an article on a study about a surgical procedure that is being experimented with. The surgery takes some live hair follicles from your head & transplants them onto your eyelid & they will grow like normal hair, so you could grow your eyelashes out to whatever length you want & cut them too! Like I said, I think that the surgery is only experimental right now, but keep your eyes open for more information on it!

actually i don’t know, but here’s a tip: take an empty mascara, put Castor oil in it, & put it on ur eyelashes with the mascara brush. I’ve tried it, & it’s so gr8 & helpful, u should try it:)

that’s the prob I have, ppl say I should put the eyeliner first? then awhile you drawing eyeliner it so impossible that you won’t draw it into the eyelash’s too? & that make your eyelashes get wet from eyeliner & each lash glue to each other. how can I solve this problem?

I’m latino, I have very long (But straight) eyelashes, & I can’t find an eyelash curler, is there any other way to curl my eyelashes cuz I hate having straight ones.

I need to curl my eyelashes! Please don’t suggest buy an eyelash curler, because I can’t! I know they’re cheap, but I can’t! So are there any other ways?!
