Instead of relying on just the medical advice/details, I like talking to people on Yahoo Answers. I’ve gotten alot of good answers on here.
The doctor told me, I have a sty from a hair follicle. So she gave me erythromycin opthalmic ointment.
The sty – bump – chalazion, feels like a ingrown hair, but I think the cause is from dust, or allergies.
I’m not ruling out her opinion of it being a eyelash, I just think there are other possibilites of the exact cause.
Let me get to my questions.
Does erythromycin opthalmic ointment really work ?
( i’ve read that this stuff is used for a number of things, is this true )
Your suppose to lean back, & drop a ointment in the eye, which seems impossible.
Can’t I just wash my hands, put it on my finger, then touch under my eyelid with it ?
I like learning, & love learning about cures, so that when a problem comes up, I know how to treat it, & what medicine to use.

Mine fell out & I am willing to do anything to help them grow back faster.

Okay I bought an eyelash curler (just a original gold one) & Its not working so well for me, like, it isn’t curling my lashes…
Am I doing something wrong? I heat it up with the hairdryer… & if I heat it too hot, I wait for a few seconds till it cools down abit & then apply it to my lashes… But it aren’t working… It curls abit but not much or not to the curl I want…
Do I need to get a heated eyelash curler ? OR what am I doing wrong?
I use vaseline each night if that helps…
But I always wash it off in the morning, is this possibly a problem?

it’s gotten loose & it won’t curl my lashes like it was before…i just got it a couple weeks ago..it was working sO WELL! the best eyelash curler i’ve ever used!…but yeah i think i’ve been squeezing too hard..and it loosened & now the top part goes past my lashes & doesn’t curl them at all… : (
i wonder if they could help me at Sephora?

today was my first day in college & i see this girl with super big & long eyelashes. they didnt even look like eyelashes, it looked like the hair on her head was growing from her eyelids as well. i mean, she was a hot chick & all (though its obvious she has no natural beauty) but her eyelashes were so overwhelming, you could barely even see her eyes! I would hate to be her boyfriend! go up to kiss her & her eyelashes be poking you in the eye lol…

I wanted eyelashes added & the eye color changed to blue.

For some reason, all of them have gotten clumped up & they curl way back, even when i have no eye makeup on. i’ve tried to use warm water on a q-tip & separate/uncurl them, but it hasn’t worked. please help!

I know a lot of girls obsess over their eyelashes & use mascara, fake eyelashes, & even get eyelash extensions. But do you guys really notice others’ eyelashes?
I never notice, do other people really?

I’ve heard good things about this mascara, which offers fiber extensions to your eyelashes. However, I’m not used to spending $25 on mascara, so, can anyone tell me if it’s worth it?

I want to try hearing something different than ‘be yourself’ advice. Ha ha.

i dont think theres anything u can really do, i guess u could try that latisse thing on the commercials…but mascara goes a long way!!

One that makes ur eyelashes real looking & smooth , not like all dry & crumpeld.. my friend told me to put some lotion on ur eyelashes to make the mascara look softer..
oh yeah & one that isn’t all sticky und icky & makes ur eyes pop , & ur eyelashes realy long.. ok… doeds this even exist???

I have hazel eyes & long eyelashes. But I’m not sure exactly which colors would look best with my eyes. They say “contrasting colors”, but what does that mean for hazel eyes?
Another problem I have is how much I apply. I either apply too much or too little; I can never really find a balance.
What products would you recommend?
Any tips or suggestions would be helpful!

Get a toothbrush & spread the bristles apart.
Find whatever conditioner you have & put a pea sized amount on the toothbrush.
Get a eyelash curler & squeeze the top lashes for about 5-7 seconds.
Slowly brush your eyelashes until there are no clumps of conditioner on them.
Wait 1 minute, then rinse the toothbrush with water.
Brush your eyelashes with water.
Now wait for them to grow!
It may take about 2 weeks to see a difference.
Doing this for 3 days makes eyelashes longer.
Doing this for at least a week makes eyelashes thicker. The eyelash curler also makes your lashes grow upwards if you squeeze hard enough each time.

I have trichotillomania & it started when i was in grade 7 during exams. i guess it was a nervous tick but im now graduating from high school 4 years later & it hasn’t stopped. My eyelashes are pretty well gone, all there is are little tiny eyelash pieces probably trying to grow in. It’s not all that visible but obviously i want to stop!
I want some advice from anyone who has seen or experienced this as badly as i have. I really am missing my eyelashes & would like to know what to do from people who were in my situation. As well, were your eyelashes different when they grew back?

its only on one eye.
is it because they just need to come out? i heard eyelashes fall out all the time.
is there anything i can do to make them stronger? (not mascara etc, im talking about just eyelashes on there own)
also some of them have broken off, how long will it take for them to grow back?
please no silly answers!
