Eyelash Answers

I got colored contacts for a recent trip to Vegas. Now I have 20/15 vision & these are purely for looks. My doctor has requested that I wear them for a week & then come in for a return visit to make sure I am doing ok.
I find them really uncomfortable. Basically they cause my vision to become blurry. I think this is because they cause my eyes to become dry (this is as soon as I put them in) & eye drops for contacts do not help. The blurriness is also giving me headaches. I can feel them which is tolerable but slightly annoying (feels like I have a piece of dust or an eyelash in my eye all day). I am diligent about cleaning them so I assume it is just the contact.
They gave me the freshlook colorblends. I tried these 5 years ago & had the same exp. Is it the brand? They told me due to the color they are thicker & not supposed to be comfortable. Is this the case? They don’t carry any other brands at my optometrist so I couldn’t compare.
Do you wear colored contacts? Are they annoying? Any advice?

I have eyelashes growing in the duct, the part closest to my nose & it’s driving my crazy! They are very small, blonde hairs that grow under the usual row of eyelashes & grow out of the top & bottom lid. I pluck them out with tweezers but they keep growing back & scratch my eye when I blink. Does anyone else have this problem?
