Eyelash Answers

Alright, Many people & commercials state that eyelash grower really does show results for increasing the size of eyelashes. So what would happen if you applied it to your head?
This is just a thought alright lol.
And my hair grows pretty fast, but I want to know what will happen if somebody actually applied it to their head. Will it make your hair grow faster or will no result come from this at all?

I have very thin hard to notice eyelashes & they are very fine.im not allowed to wear mascara yet & i need help. I recentaly had someone ask me if I plucked my eyebrows [ i dont] & i got embarrassed. My eyebrows are thinning on the side & i dont know how to make them grow. [ i used to have this habit of pulling at my eyebrows & the hairs would come out]

Yes, your eye lash hair will grow back…
But, be careful, if you suffer (or think you may suffer from) trichotillomania, the disease in which you pull out your own hair (namely, eye lash hair), then you will be continuously battling your hair loss & it may be possible that you suffer nerve damage at the root of the eye lashes as well.

Hi everyone. Well basically, i am in two minds as to whether or not i have this ‘thing’; people who know me well say i must have it, though they aren’t doctors. Basically i have had a bit of a troubled life so far, i am 19 years old, have been raped (which i think has damaged my self image quite a bit & my perception of myself as a person) have battled with drug/ alcohol addiction (i got clean & went to rehab at 17) & have experienced numerous other trauma’s which i wont dwelve into. Anyway, since i have got clean off drugs it’s like i am just OBSESSED with my appearance. And not in a vain way either, i mean like not looking in mirrors checking myself out, but looking in mirrors because i feel so self- conscious & ugly. I can see all my flaws, dark circles round my eyes, smallish eyes lines from my nose to lip corners.. Soo much to say, horrible body shape, broad back.. My main focus is my eyes, so far i have spent vast amounts of money getting my eyeliner tattooed on (i am not happy with the results & am due to get a consultation at Harley street very soon) have also spent a lot on eyelash extensions etc.. To make my eyes bigger. I normally always leave the beauty salon slightly dissapointed that they couldnt drastically change my appearance, yet i always go back for more. My parents think i am really stupid to spend all this money & shout at me & to stop & criticise me constantly.
I’ve got a lot of issues on the inside, & sometimes feel that if i looked perfect on the outside the issues i have on the inside would just melt away & not affect me anymore.. The way i feel about my appearance has gotten so bad now that i virtually NEVER go out socially anymore; i have been out socially 3times since August of last year.. Because i dont want people to look at me & think im ugly.
Anyway what do you think do you think i have body dysmorphia? I dont really because i always thought body dysmorphia was when a pretty person thought of themselves as ugly, but as i am just so ugly i guess what i think must be right if that makes sense. Thanks anyway.

i’m asian so i have straight eyelashes.
so i just heat up my eyelash curler a little bit with a blow dryer (it keeps the lashes nice & curled all day!)

i heard that if you put vaseline on your eyelashes they grow longer,

no it doesn’t, it just clumps them together & make them LOOK longer & fuller, try more protein in your diet but I do seriously doubt that that will help. Eyelashes have a terminal growth, meaning they only grow to a certain length & then stop growing longer…else everyone would be walking around with 18 foot long eyelashes & not be able to see..cha!! when was the last time that you heard of someone needing an eyelash trim???

k well i was using my eyelash curler & it like mmissed the black sponge part at the bottom & it cut half my eyelashes off, will they grow back fast?!

I have a light olive complexion & hazel eyes – they range from rich ornagy brown to a light yellow green.
I have dark eyelashes & eyebrows also.

and length is also similar give or take a few cms & has a loose curl / wave to it – I wear it natural & don’t straighten it frequently.
Should I dye my hair? With megan fox, you think wow not only because she is gorgeous but because her eyes contrast her hair (and eyelashes / brows)

probably not, but there are a few things you can try.
I think there are a few last conditioners on the market that you can use to make them less brittle, but I may have made that up. It could be a moisturizing eye makeup remover that made mine soft, or baby oil, which can also be used to remove makeup.
If you curl your lashes AFTER applying mascara, you’re probably just sticking, & that will cause them to pull out. If this is what happens, curl them prior to using mascara.
There are also volumizing, lengthening, & curling mascaras that you may try. Some of them may even come in a clear formula, but I haven’t investigated the makeup aisle for some time.
I had curler one time that was plastic, rather than metal. It was a little bit thicker, & the pad was more wide & thick, also. If you can find one of those… it’s more bulky, but may be a little easier on the lashes as far as sticking, pulling, & breaking.
There is also a heated eyelash curler. It’s metal, so the pieces are a bit more narrow, but the heat may help curl with less pressure on the lashes, which will also curb sticking & breaking. You may search for it on google & see what you come up with.

My eye’s are almond shaped & hazel…..i barely have eyelashes & my eyebrows are light brown & their not to low or to high!!
What about yours i want to know the color shape & what you like most about your eyes?

I have the worst eyelashes anyone can ever imagine. They’re short, they’re thin & they point straight down. No matter how I curl them & no matter how much mascara I use. I can’t make them look nice. I’m just wondering if there are any quick tips or tricks to make your eyelashes grow NATURALLY, & to make them curl. Eyelash curlers don’t really work for me, & it doesn’t make a difference if I heat the curler either. So just tips & tricks on that please. Oh, & if there are any mascara that are really good for lengthing & holding a curl without clumping (Im not big on volume), please tell! Thank you!

I also cut off my eyelashes i’m regretting allottt but i heard that if you drink milk, both your hair & eyelashes will grow out faster. But i’m lactose & tolerant so i cant drink regular milk, will soy milk have the same property as regular milk or should i consider talking lactose pills?

I recently read somewhere that it should be replaced. I bought mine from Shu uemura at Sephora & although I replaced the pad, I’ve used the same curler for at least 5 yrs. It still seems to work well.

Personally I would never put some very sharp objects near my eyes. I also have to ask the question why do you want to trim your eyelashes when people spend so much money on items to get them to “appear” longer? I’d leave them alone if I were you.

I want to buy an eyelash curler, but I’m afraid it will rip my eyelashes off. My eyelashes are really thin & so Im afraid to use it. I heard that they rip off your eyelashes. Is that true? & if it is how long does it take to regrow your eyelashes?
