So there’s a school dance this Friday. Theres no real theme. I am probably wearing jeans & darkish colored top. For shoes it will either be black flats or black Converse hightops (haha, my fav). My hair is light-brownish, sort of like dirty-blonde. I am straightening it, & it is about down to my shoulders. What kind of makeup should I wear? I don’t want to go over the top, but some kind of thing that would look good. And YES, I do wear a little but of concealer. Should I use liquid or power because I have tried both but idk what looks better.
Anyway, all the makeup I & my sister has (which I can borrow) is eyeliner, liquid or not, mascara, some eyeshadow, lipstick/gloss (which one should I choose?), blush, concealer, eyelash curler.

This past summer was the worst for me. Found out my (Ex) Best friend of 3 years was using me. My folks got a divorce. Dad is an alcoholic & doesn’t talk to me but if he does he is only mean. A lot of my friends are turning out to show their true colors- often(SP?) shady. Tried yoga but the tape I have won’t work so I found positions online & not rele working for me to relax (i’m rele impatient). I did have anxiety but after my dad moved out a month ago I stopped pulling out my eyelashes & eyebrows.
Going back to college late this month. Would like to know how to get rid of stress (my face has broke out & i would like it to be clear again & i already use pro-activ). And also would like to know how to make good friends or talk to anyone at college

PS: i am a few hours away from any stores with makeup. Well..there is one that is a 20min drive away..
I dont wear dresses & i dont own any. I dont own any shirt shorts either.
Most of my friends wear makeup but we usually dont do our hair up & we usually wear comfortable clothing.

This is going to be a long question.
Well school starts in about 3 or 4 weeks. I guess I’m pretty, but I’m tired of being known as the “cute one” to all of my friends. I want to look prettier, hotter, & more mature. I also want to look like a girl guys stop & stare at. But I don’t want to lose myself!!

I actually have no curling iron, but if I wanted my hair curly I usually use braids & sleep in them overnight. I also own a hair dry (but no straightener). Do I just have to make really loose braids to get the waves?

I rescued a kitten a couple of weeks ago from the pound. Since bringing her home I boarded her for a week due to a previously scheduled vacation planned. It boarding place couldn’t guarantee me that she would be there when I go back. Lilly is adorable! I love her with all of my heart!. I plan to declaw her when she is big enough I am researching this issue. However, she scratches & bites a lot & I know that this is playing for her. I am not sure how to discipline a kitten some suggest water bottle & spray her but I know she won’t like that & I don’t want her to hate me. Also I work nights & last night was the first night that I left her home alone for 12 hours. I left her toys bed, blanket etc out for her when I got home she made an accident on the floor during the night. It is not like her to do this. The stool was not the same color as normal so my question is did she do this because she was upset with me or have an upset tummy. So I guess I just want to make sure that I am doing everything right or maybe if anyone has tips on what worked for them. She does very well with little box other wise just that time she had the accident. You feedback will be highly appreciated…..as I am a new cat mommy! Oh & she is obsessed with my eyelash (tries to use her teeth on them)?

I’m hosting a bachelorette party in May & want to give out favors. I’m making a baggie for each guest containing things she may need throughout the night. Her scavenger hunt card, a pen, straw, sticker, gum or mints, & some sort of make up.

because thers this girl at school & if i look at her myspace photos, her eyelashes are so dark & thick. if i take pictures my eyelashes dont show at all because my mascara isnt dark & thick but hers show up. i want that soooo bad but i dont know what mascara 2 use. rite now im using lash stylist from maybelline. & i love it cus it has a brush & its really easy to apply but it doesnt come out to thick. i buy like really black colors but it doesnt seem to come out like that girls. & i dont want it very clumpy. girls? answer from experianceeee

i want to start wearing eye make-up, but i don’t know what kind would match my skin & eye color.My skin is light & my eyes are a hazily green. i don’t like the way they look in many make-ups & i don’t know how to fix it. also my eyelashes are already very dark, so i don’t need mascara. they are beautiful, but the rest of my face is not.

I have a concert tonight & the dress im wearing is black along with my shoes. The shoes are shiny & have about a 1 inch heel. The dress stops at the knees & its not straight down, its got a wave cuz the material is stretchyish, not like spandex but its a soft stretchy material. The chest area is a bit revealing without like a tank top or something which i think i might wear but im debating on the color I should wear for the tank top depending on my make up. Anyways, to some people all of that outfit stuff helps.
I want to know what make up I should wear thats different from my normal. Normally I have black eyeliner on my waterline, with a thicker line of eyeliner just above the eyelashes on my eyelid, I have a solid color eyeshadow on the rest of the lid & put a soft almost skin color from the top of the solid color up to my brow, & mascara. I want to go for different & beautiful, i want my eyes to pop.
Also ideas for hair plz I normally have it down. I cant do anything to my lips cuz im playing my instrument tonight. Go clarinets.

I posted this before but I got no answers, & I’ve made some changes. I’m working on writing a teen-aimed fantasy novel & am working mostly on planning it out before I dive into writing, because planning is important. I wanted some opinions & suggestions for my characters.
Elizabeth Skyera Mellson (Skyera)- Goes by Skyera because her step sister shares her first name. She is 16, Has curly red hair, is very small, & has green eyes. She is very different & likes to wear bright colors. She talks a lot, & many people find her very annoying. She’s not afraid to speak her mind, & often does it when uncalled for. She has one close friends, Christine, & falls in love with Kaison. Her mother is dead so she lives with her step dad & step sister.
Kaison Smith- He’s from another dimension but somehow mysteriously ended up in our world. Like a child, he’s still learning the ways of our society. He often looses control of his emotions & goes through fits of anger & depression, but he is extremely innocent & kind. He falls in love with Skyera. He has dark hair, brown eyes, & pale skin. Unknown age. Took up the last name Smith when he came to our world because it was inconspicuous. Falls in love with Skyera.
Christine Gianne Brown- Skyera’s best friend. She is very quiet & allows people to take advantage of her. She is extremely kind & an amazing friend. She has black hair, blue eyes, & wears glasses.
Elizabeth Leigha Widenser- Skyera’s step sister. Never intentionally cruel, but her pride causes her to come across as arrogant at times. Sometimes, she cares more than she needs to about superficial things, but cares alot about many people, such as her father, her friends, & her boyfriend, Robbie. Brown hair, blue eyes, & is very tall.
Leomsen Teorsoss- The ambassodor of our dimension on the organization that makes sure all dimensions are sealed from each other. They find out about Kaison, & want to send him back to his own dimension, but by this point he’s already deeply in love with Skyera. His refusal to return angers the organization, & they decide they must kill both Kaison & Skyera. Leomsen hates those who offend him or oppose him, & basically anyone with views that differ from his own.
Robert Shay Hayse (Rob)- Elizabeth’s boyfriend. He plays soccer & is quite handsome. He’s very arrogant.
Richard Widenser- Skyera’s step father & Elizabeth’s father. Though he cares for Skyera, he has a natural tendacy to care more about his biological daughter more.
??? – Elizabeth’s best friend. Very pretty. Long blond hair, dark long eyelashes, & stunning blue eyes that appear violet in the right lighting. Never rude, & is often considered perfect.
I can’t decide on a name for her. I was thinking Claire, than Anneliese, that Catya (kot-ee-uh), than Kayta, then Laurette. And I was thinking maybe Riley as the last name… but I’m not sure. I want one that sounds kind of girly & sophisticated, but than I was thinking odd. What do you think?
Do you like all the characters & the names? None of them sound too cliche & none of the names are horrible or don’t fit at all? Any suggestions?

A bit about myself 21 yrs old almost 22, Microbiology major who takes 17+units every semester & I am getting married in five months lol. I don’t have time to make myself look good really. I’m a wash & go type of girl & I don’t like to use straighteners because my hair gets damaged easy even when I do not style it. I wash & let air dry. I am allergic to sulphates so I am using special baby shampoo & my hair somewhat isn’t as damaged but it still gets bad. Anyways PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A COMMENT ABOUT HOW I LOOK. I know I am not the prettiest thing to look at this is about what haircut & hair color I should get. My hair is wavy & fine. All of these pictures I have no make up on except MAC viva glam V lipglass, white eyeliner & I curl my eyelashes but no mascara. My cheeks are red because it was 110 degrees that day I usually have a more even skin tone. The first picture is before I brushed my hair(don’t you love bf’s haha they always take weird pictures of you) lol so you can see the texture & also that is my skin tone(Mac NC40 which means I have yellow undertones)I have no idea why I got whitewashed in the other pictures.

i am a girl. i have a longish face with a very strong square jawline. my facial structure sort of resembles a cross between a rectangle & an oval. i am looking for a way to soften the look of my jawline. besides the jaw i have big brown eyes & thick eyelashes, i am tall for a girl & naturally thin my skin is pale & i have a few light freckles. i also have long light hazelnut toned hair that is usually straight. so any tips (whether it be make up, hairstyles, tanning, specific colors i dunno anything) would be greatly appreciated. i want real tips though, not just little insults or jabs or things like that. thank you so much!

Ok, I didn’t tell anybody much about me last time I put up a question about this, so here you go. I’m 5′6″, curvy, really really pale, dark hair (nearly black), dark eyes (thick long curly eyelashes), & I’m gonna get a pixie cut in 2 weeks. It nearly always looks like I’m blushing. I hate wearing white or yellow(technically I can’t wear it cuz I’m so pale I look sick if I wear these colors). I really like the color black. I like punk type of things, but i also like cute things. yes, I know it’s kind early, but gotta find the perfect one. except, i’ve never been good at picking the right colors or style. My hair is nearly black (naturally) I’ve got pale skin (If I wear white i turn yellow *cries*) & I am not skinny or fat. I’m curvy & am 5′6″. I’ve got brown eyes with really thick eyelashes. I recently was prescribed a toric lens for my left eye & a normal lens for my right eye. After trying on a few different toric lenses (all but one so far irritated my eye) I have continually noticed a small blur area in my perifrial(sp) vision in with my left eye (so the left corner of my left eye). It’s almost like the feeling that an eyelash is dangling from the corner of my eye or something (but it’s not). It’s really noticeable when I walk or rotate my head as color moves through that part of the lens. Has anyone had this issue? I don’t get this when I wear a normal lens is that eye (i’m trying different lenses right now).

I am going to dye my hair this weekend & i still havent picked out the color i want, I have blonde hair right now & dirty ash blonde roots…I have had brown hair be4 & it looks okay but i am thinking of taking the plunge & going with black although when i tell the people closest to me they look at me like im crazy…I have porcelain skin, heart shape face, bright blue eyes, dark black eyelashes & dark eye brows, my hair is long past my shoulders…I am really confused i cant choose, my sister want me blonde, my mom think brown with blonde highlights & my husband says anything look nice on me which is no help lol~
