Eyelash Answers

Well I have been trying to grow my hair out for about 3 years now, & it has only grown approx. 4 inches..and yeah, I am female so expect me to make a fuss out of it,haha. But I have been taking extra vitamins for it, tried a salon brand shampoo/conditioner. Not seeing fantastic results. I have that L’OREAL Lash Serum & eyelashes are hair so I am tempted to try it, haha. But before I go crazy I must ask Yahoo people! So is there a for sure thing product, or natural remedy or anything that is THE best?
Please, no smartass comments like “get extensions” And If you are going to comment, please be serious & give me your best answer.

or even, too much make up. i dont wear any make up ever, by the way, because in my opinion my skin is fine, & my eyelashes are long enough to get away with no mascara so i see no reason to spend money & time on it.
but why does everyone judge them, & call them fake & stuff? no matter what anybody says, everyone cares about their looks to a certain extent, so if you need to wear make up to feel pretty then why not? it isnt hurting anyone. is it jealousy because generally girls that get called “fake” (even if they arent the stereotypical slutty orange blonde hair extensions fake girl) get more male attention? as much as anyone denies it, it is true, even if it is known the girl isnt a slut. & even if they dont get heaps of attention they still get called fake & hated on.
why is this? it’s someone’s choice to wear make up. & like i said, it doesnt hurt anybody else.

Sorry, I don’t have a pic. But I will describe it!
Hair: My hair is long, past my shoulders & black. For prom I want it curled; big curls! I want a lot of volume. Also, I want light pink extensions on the side. Oh yes & bangs. (Think Nicki Minaj)
Dress: It’s HOT pink, a little bit above the knees, one shouldered with a BIG pink flower. The material is silk. The skirt poofs out a little.
Shoes: The same color as my dress, & their pumps.
Makeup: Silvery & shimmery. Fake eyelashes. Pink lips.
What do you think?

I already do the whole fake tan, fake eyelashes, lots of black eyeliner, lots of foundation, & nude lips thing. i have dark brown hair with extensions & big it up with hairspray. im a hairdresser so i know how to do this properly.
so basically i just need more details like what eyeliner should i use, i prefer pencil but it always runs how can i stop this? what foundations offers a perfect airbrushed look without streaking or being patchy etc etc..
so anyone who loves this too what do you guys use? or anyone know of any really good products & how do you all apply your makeup?
& i know im going to get people commenting this saying horrible stuff; leave it out your just jealous & blatantly came on this question too get tips (: x

i have an appointment on tuesday the 29th to get my hair cut & died.
i need some ideas of what to do.
this weekend im going to get clip in extensions because i love to change my hair so its just easier to get the clip in extensions than dye it & damage it more.
i love being different so anything creative is appreciated :]

When my friend was little she was diagnosed with Omenn’s Syndrome, which means you cannot fight infection. Luckily she was given a born marrow transplant & is now alright. During the illness, her nails, eyebrows, eyelashes & hair fell out. Her nails, eyebrows, eyelashes have grown. So have her hair but much thinner. She also has to take hormone tablets, because she didn’t produce oestrogen as she was severly ill & iron tablets because she is anaemic.
She has been to the doctor but the doctor said nothing. My friends hair is getting her down & she doesn’t want to go out. She has a wig but says its stupid anyway because you can’t even style it, this cost £200 & was a waste of money. She can’t wear hair extensions as you can easily see the clip through her hair. (She has hair loss mostly at the top of her head).
Is there a cheap treatment She can get or if you can provide me with a link with a list of treatments available, that’ll be great! She is looking to spend £300 maximum.
Is there anything I can do to help her?

now that im on the subject on eyelashes, I’ve been seeing so many females nowadays that wear fake eyelashes as part of their everyday routine. They look nice, but some **** look laughable. For instance, my sis-in-law went to a cheap chinese salon & got some lash extensions. Well I wish I had a picture to show, but I don’t want to be sued for slander, anyways she looks like she has horse eyelashes.

i need to buy hair extension glue but whats the age restriction?

I am a scene kid.
A poser, fake, whatever.
I used to be a prep, but i turned scene this year.
Hair extensions, makeup, everything.
I wear so much makeup i look disgusting, & i even wear fake eyelashes.
I’m caught up in this fake-*** trend that I used to think was so cool.
At school I always get called “fake, poser, wannabe”
And i realized today, that I am.
I buy these clothes I hate because I think kids will like it.
I say things i shouldn’t, because I think people will think i’m cooler.
I tell everyone that i’m not a virgin, but I am..
I tell everyone i’ve done weed, when the only thing i’ve done is Hooka.
I swear, make up lies, & cheat so people like me.
Its killing me on the inside, & I want to stop.
I want everyone to know the real me. But i’m so far along in this lie that I dont even know what to do….
But I cant.
I’m caught in this stupid trend, with people knowing that i’m a freak, & I can’t keep myself happy.
Someone help me. What do I do?

i have an appointment for tomorrow, the cost is $35 & they said it would last about one week, i thought they were supposed to last for about one month, does this sound too expensive, i am not sure about it. also is there anything you can do to make them last longer?

my hair is unbelievably thin, but it’s not really that short… it goes a couple inches down my shoulders. it’s fried & has alot of split ends.
therefore, i want extensions. i plan to dye my hair black, like it was previously, & get long black extensions. i’ve had it before, a year ago, but my looks changed. they were clip-in’s, & they were a pain to put in.
i want real hair, or atleast hair that looks & FEELS real. everybody tells me that glue-in’s are a b****. i need your opinon, method, & a price ?? & where i can get them? & possibly the cheapest method.
alsoo, with fake eyelashes; i dont’ want to buy a pair for 7$ at walgreens because i heard they fall off. i want them professional. does anybody know how long they last & cost?
and one last thing… my shoulders/body is VERY dark, but my face is pale. it’s because i wear facial makeup but my face is horrible/red without it. how much is a fake tan or should i just go to the pool everyday without makeup?

I have short, straight eyelashes. I use a Shu Uemura eyelash curler. So far I’ve tried Stila Major Lash (a bit clumpy), Imju Fiberwig (good length, but made my lashes spider-looking), Loreal Double Extension (too clumpy), & Cover Girl Lash Exact (not very natural looking). So I was was wondering what is the best NATURAL looking mascara, that also adds lots of length?

I have short, straight, thin eyelashes that curl well. I want affordable drugstore(Walgreens) mascara that can help keep the curl but also lenghthen my eyelashes & give a little more volume. So far my choices are Maybelline’s Colossal, Maybelline’s XXL (curl or lengthen), L’Oreal’s Lash Extensions, L’Oreal’s Voluminous, & L’Oreal’s Extra Volume Collagen. I’m wondering if there’s any other “really good ones” out there that i can find at Walgreen’s, or ones that you wouldnt recommend. I don’t really care about the price….

i saw a few episodes in Magaluf & were going on holiday there, were from the UK anyway but was wondering if you can be elected to go on the show or if you are simply spotted & asked?
We are both in love with the ‘fake’ look, & you wont find anyone else who loves fake tan more than we do, along with the layers of make up, fake eyelashes, bronzers, eyeliner & glitter! Not to mention the hair extensions & Heels, can never be high enough!! Barbie is a role model, who didn’t love barbie?!! life savings are going towards plastic surgery in the near future. Were looking forward to our holiday, full of clubbing, heels, make up & all the things we love. How funny, to imagine us natural !

I’m talking about like little girls that they make look like little Barbie dolls. I watched a special the other day on them & I was shocked at what they do to these little girls! They make these six year old girls wear special teeth to cover their missing teeth, false eyelashes, all sorts of make-up, tons of hair spray & even extensions, & they even spray tan them (I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the pageant moms even have tanning beds at home!). Most of the little girls seemed like they hated all the primping. Obviously, I’m against it. They make these girls look too sexy & the whole thing just seems very wrong. It sends the message to these little girls that their looks are what’s important. Sure, they do have talent segments & they supposedly base winning on personality too but let’s be honest, it’s mostly about looks. And yes, these little girls can win money to put towards college but it seems like most of the money will help pay the outrageous pageant expenses ($1000 or more gowns???)! What are your thoughts? Do you know anyone that puts their kids through these things?

its like if your parents smoke marijuana & condemn their child for doing meth… i understand that one is worse BUT they are both illegal…bottomline.
Why can we do things to ourselves to change or alter our features but only to an extent? If a black person wants to bleach their skin…how is it different from tanning? I dont think anyone should be stopped from altering their features into what THEY believe beauty is (whatever the hell they feel it is)…. im talking about little things like mascera… to make your eyelashes longer than what they naturally are, or lipstick, even hair extensions… to me they are all equivalent to bleaching. i believe people living in glass houses shouldnt throw stones.

I have seen many many many beauty videos on youtube, television etc… about how to create the best look like the stars & look just awesome. I noticed in each of these videos in the media the consultants have “products” that are needed to help you “look” natural, not that you are being natural, but to look natural. For instance weave. If a girl sees a celebrity like Megan Fox or somethin & they like her hair, later they find out from the stylist she is wearing hair extensions doesn’t this ring a bell to the girl watching, that Megan Fox’s hair is FAKE, so to be like Megan Fox the girl has to be FAKE. Am I right or wrong?….So if the girl goes home & buys hair extensions so she can get Megan Fox look, is she being natural or just trying to “look” natural, but its all fake.
Basically, what I’m getting at is why do women pride themselves on looking natural, but what your using to achieve the look is fake?
I here people say that “I don’t want to look fake”, but those same people have on fake eyelashes, so they can appear to have long full eyelashes. Why try to judge somebody else that has had a boob job, while you wear make-up (a.k.a a mask, like in theater).
Women have the idea that Megan Fox is being natural, NO, Megan Fox appears to “look” natural, but the products being used on her are fake, perhaps she even has contacts. In the Beauty industry “look” is an artform & how you achieve the artform is where the creativity lies. So to achieve a look like the stars you need to have what they have had done: plastic surgery, make-up, hair extension/dye, contacts, boxtox, whatever to achieve this flawless beauty.
My questions to girls or women every where why are you not satisfied with being fake? In order to achieve perfection, FAKE is the only route you can take. How can one girl judge another for having weave, yet her whole face is caked with make-up, contacts, & fake eyelashes. Aren’t you both wanting to decieve others, but you both don’t want to be decieved.

and it works pretty good i just want something else..
do you know of any other kind of mascara that makes your eyelashes LONGER? because mine are short.

p.s. i have also used the collasal mascara (in big yellow tube) & it works.. it just flakes off really easy, so i’ll have black dots under my eyes… & yeah so anything else that would make them seem longer, or make them longer! thanks (:

everyone at school calls me poser, scene fake etc. i dont even know what a “scene” is so. they call my boyfriend scene too b/c he has longish hair & has his lip pierced.how is that scene ? ughh i wear extensions b/c my hair doesnt grow (ima vegatarian) & i wear false eyelashes b/c i lost my eyelashes when i got really sick when i was a baby, & i wear acrylic nails for the fun of it, they r pretty, why are these people so hurtful ? what should i say back ?
