Everytime I use eye makeup remover, on my eyelashes, I lose about 5 lashes . I heard using a face cleanser on ur eyes works better, but won’t it sting?

i dont have a lot of eyelashes & when i remove mascara at the end of the day some of my scare eyelashes will fall out. so i am trying to find an alternative. so if i use fake eyelashes.. when i remove them will some of my real eyelashes come out too? Also, can I reuse them? Please answer only if you’ve had experience.

is there any type of false eyelashes that i can use that will last a very long time & are inexpensive, preferably ones that i could leave on for a week or 2 that are on the more permanent side than the regular lashes that u remove every time u apply them?

I always would wipe off my mascara with vaseline or in the shower, & it worked pretty well. I heard vaseline causes pimples, & my face is starting to get acne under my eye & cheek area. I also am losing eyelashes! I haven’t worn mascara in 2 weeks because I’m scared I might lose more lashes. Help?!

My wife had something in her eye earlier today, I looked & it seemed like the glue from her fake eyelashes had drooped into her eye, so I had her remove her fake eyelash. Immediately, her eye was red & she’s kept it squinted the rest of the day. It’s only been about 4 hours, & there is a light green substance inside her eye & when she opens her lids to show me, there is a large amount around the boundaries of her inner eye-lid. Please help, I hate to see her in pain, it kills me. It seems more severe than pink eye.

Removing fake eyelashes is not as challenging as it may seem. You’re probably afraid of pulling out your natural lashes along with the false ones because of the glue. No worries!
Things You’ll Need:
Cotton swab
Eye makeup remover( oil )or cold cream
Wall mirror
Facial tissue
Tweezers
Cotton pad
Step 1
Dip a cotton swab in a generous amount of eye makeup remover or cold cream, whichever is currently available to you.
Step 2
Half close the eye you want to work on while looking straight into a wall mirror. Gently slather the eye makeup remover onto your lash line, where your fake eyelashes are attached. Let sit for a full minute so the product weakens the lash glue.
Step 3
Wipe the excess eye makeup remover off with a facial tissue so you can prevent the product from getting into your eye as much as possible before you open it. Gingerly take the outer corner of your full strip lash inwards. It should budge now with little to no resistance. For individual lashes, use a pair of tweezers to gently take them out. Be careful to concentrate only on the tip so you don’t pull your natural lashes out.
Step 4
Repeat on other eye.
Step 5
Remove the rest of your eye makeup with cotton pads that have been absorbed with eye makeup remover before washing your face. This should thoroughly get rid of the remnants of your fake lash adhesive.
Tips
Never sleep in fake eyelashes, as that can make them harder to remove.
Don’t throw away the fake eyelash packaging, because they can be stored again for later use.
Do not tug or pull hard on the fake eyelashes when trying to remove them, as this will remove your natural lashes as well.

Just remove your makeup how you usually do it, but dodge your eyelashes.

I use them & they don’t rip my eyelashes out since I gently remove them with warm water.
Is the glue damaging to the lashes?

Can anyone recommend either Xtreme Lash Mascara or Lash Maxxx from Rimmel (both have comb wands)? I’m thinking between those two because I love comb mascaras & I need a mascara to seperate/define my eyelashes & make them longer/curlier? Does anyone have any other Mascara suggestions (with comb wands though)? Also, if I do get either of the Rimmel ones, should I opt for normal or waterproof? I don’t really have any preferences it’s just that I’ve noticed in the past that normal mascara flakes off & doesn’t tend to last as long (concerning the curl) whereas waterproof does but it’s really hard to take off & some people say that its chemicals cause your eyelashes to weaken. Does waterproof affect your eyes at all? And does anyone have first hand experience with the two Rimmel mascaras whether or not the waterproof versions are hard or easy to remove? [Sorry for asking so many questions!]

Im 14 & i started using mascara last year , i remove my makeup before going to bed ,but when i do i see that some eyelashes fall out during the procedure , is it because they’re getting weaker or simply cause i wear mascara every day? . Are there any products in the uk that could soften & maybe protect my eyelashes so im not completley eyelashless by the time im 30 ? also , whats the best lengthening mascara i can buy in the uk ?

I’ve recently bought Talika lash extender, the one that contains little loose particles (kind of fibres) & you apply it between two coats of mascara. Has anyone had an experience who could give me tips as I find it really fiddly to use.
As the particles are little ‘black hairs’ I find that, however careful I am, a lot of it falls on my face during application & then they are difficult to remove. So I end up looking like I have hair on my face in various places. Even if I remove them one by one, I find that during the day they fall off my eyelashes.
It is otherwise a nice product in the sense that it does make your eyelashes look thick & long.

I saw on How To Look Good Naked (My parents were watching it while I fed the fish) about waterproof mascara’s & how they don’t all work. Which is the best waterproof mascara on the market & is easy to get off? (Sounds stupid doesn’t it?) I don’t want one that will make my lashes look more seperated & nicer but not make my eyelashes look huge or tall or really curly or anything. Just like a mascara for everyday, that shouldn’t damage my eyelashes & isn’t too over dramatic or mega thick. Sounds complicated, sorry! Also, what would be the best way to remove it? With eye make up remover I’m guessing, but I haven’t got any of that yet. Just this Nivea Visage stuff called Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes which says ‘Cleanses, smooths & hydrates in one easy step. Removes even waterproof make-up’ Hopefully easily??

I have a very small stye on my eye lid, it started yesterday when I thought it was just a little sore from my face wash getting too close to my eyes, but I’m pretty sure it’s a stye. I’ve never had one in my life & I’ve always worn mascara & eyeliner since I was about 13 or 14 & never had an issue. I think, if this is possible, it was cuased by this new mascara I was using that seemed to make my itch on & off from flaking throughout the day, plus it always seemed even with trying to remove it I would wake up with some still on my eyelashes. Is that the most probably cuase? Also I heard you can’t wear makeup, I have work, a prty this weekend, & today is my anniversary! Is there anyway I can? I threw out the old stuff & cut the top of my eyeliner off, can I at least wear a little bit?

I have to gently remove them from my eyes. It happens very often. I feel something in my eyes, when it happens & it’s always eyebrows…
Is there a way around this without use tape? lol
Seriously, I have long eyelashes but still I think eyebrows are getting into my eyes not eyelashes. My eyebrows are normal…

I have asian eyes (with the monolid) & very show stubby lashes that point downwards if i don’t use mascara. I went to a chinese spa & even though they said they can do eyelash extensions on my lashes, they made it so horrible looking, very thick & clumpy glue & very fake looking extensions that point in all different directions. i was so mad i made them remove it all on the spot.
my question is, can i really get extensions done & just need to find a better place, or should i just give up cuz it’d be impossible for my lashes?

I have had continuous eye gunk for many years now. It is kind of like what you would find from dry scalp. It is not discharge in a liquid form at all, it is very dry. I have lived two different places since it has happened, & I can remember it for at least almost 7 years. It is dry & itchy & occurs mainly around where the eyelashes meet the eyelid. Also, it is somewhat difficult to remove (it doesn’t come off easily with a damp, warm washcloth, or with water at all.)
I tried to look it up, & the only thing I can find is ‘rheum’ or ‘gound’. But, that stuff is natural, whereas mine is excessive.
